pThis afternoon at 1338 Company 6 was alerted for an explosion in the area of the ballfields an apparent transformer fire.nbsp While crews were investigating it was noticed that 2 breakers were blown from a pole behind the Luthern Church as the Chief was relaying the pole number the 911 center was receiving reports of a line down causing a brush fire at Jeff Tech School.nbsp Chief Asst 6-1 and the Rescue responded to find a small fire behind the school.nbsp Crews pulled a handline and extinguished the fire while command relayed the information for the electric company.nbsp Company 6 was back in service within the hour. p
