Last evening members of the truck committee meet with representatives from Precision Fire Apparatus for our pre construction conference for our Mini Pumper build. They brought up Bower Hill FD’s truck that is being delivered next week for members to go over and assess what is very similar to ours and go over the few things we have done differently. The truck was definitely as impressive and as functional as we had imagined and thought it would be. Once the 2020 Ford F-550 chassis arrives it’ll be sent to Texas for the up fit and then on to Precision for the build. We are anticipating a summer delivery. ... See MoreSee Less

With daylight savings time coming up and the change of moving our clocks we need to make sure that we are also changing our batteries in our smoke detectors. Working smoke detectors do save lives and give that much needed time to get out or for making a rescue. Please everyone make sure yours work and if you don’t have one please get some. Rule of thumb is one on each floor but it doesn’t hurt having them in a couple different places either. ... See MoreSee Less
